Eventually I want to have a survival kit in case shit hits the fan. This is my list for now. I may add to it later.
Wind up watch/clock. It might not tell me the exact time of day, but it will tell me how long it's been since group members X and Y left to go forage for food.
Sleeping Bag Preferably one that can handle extreme colds
Reusable Feminine Hygine Products It may be icky, but I'd rather not run out
First Aid Kit ...and second, third, and fourth
Multitool Such as a pocketknife or similar device
Duct Tape and WD40 You just never know
Solar Powered Flashlight, Hand Crank Generator, Stationary Bicycle Generator etc, etc....
Multivitamins, Non-perishable Food Sources, Water Purifiers, Food storage and cooking containers etc, etc...
Boy Scout Handbook, Edible Plants Guide, Basic Survival Guide
Basic Weaponry In order of importance: (1)Axe: Multipurpose, (2)Knife: Multipurpose, (3)Pistol: Just in case, (4)Bow and Arrow: Hunting (the only reason this came after the gun is that I already know how to use a gun)
Rope Ask any D&D player how important this is
Matches For the time between shtf and my re-learning how to make fire without them
Any suggestions? I'm sure I'm forgetting something or need improvements somewhere. |

just a silly thought that occurred to me the other day:
Zombies don't eat for nutrition; they have no digestive system. Zombies are driven to eat humans because the zombie bite is the Solanum's virus's preferred method of infection - in other words, of reproduction.
So, basically, when a zombie is noming on your tasty meats, it's.... having sex with you!
